Life is too short to not eat foods that we like. But that doesn't mean we can't have any control over it.
Here I explain some foods you should eat less of it your goal is to lose weight and have a leaner, toned look. As well as improve your general health overall.
Beyond just how you look, your immune system and energy levels respond to what you eat. These foods, when eaten often, work again health and physique.
For me, I define these foods as things one should aim to not indulge in more than once a week, ideally really just a couple times a month. All of our cravings and goals are different though.
I might drink pop 1x every 2-3 months, almost exclusively if I'm mixing with a liquor. I hardly ever eat pizza or burritos, again probably no more than once a month TOPS.
But I eat pastries and desserts on a weekly basis, and often not just once a week.
Often, these foods (particularly the meal types) don't fit the model of a half a plate of veggies, here are some examples.
🚫 Pop/soda
🚫 Pastries/desserts
🚫 Candies
🚫 Burritos
🚫 Pizza
🚫 Pasta heavy dishes
