Operations Lead & Coach

Who We Are

As the owner in my 10th year of leading GHP, I am looking for an ambitious coach to serve as a number 2.  Our goal is to guide people to 1 million+ personal best performances over the coming decades.  If that excites you, read more.

Global Human Performance is a performance training gym focused on building strong, fast, injury resilient humans. We coach youth & adult athletes, largely specializing in running sports along with adults seeking fitness for life.  We are the closest thing to collegiate level T&F coaching in one house, offering 1:1 and small group S&C and on the track coaching as our very specific niche.  We serve many field sport athletes in sports such as soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, and football.

About the Role

This role will be doing strength and conditioning coaching as about 60% of the role.  The “Operations” Lead aspect lies in this role’s responsibility for keeping GHP organized and a seamless experience for our members.  Small businesses have a reputation for at times being sloppy, especially at scale.  This role is to help us operate in a way that makes doing business with us feel easy for members.

This role is responsible for member support, facility management, project management, scheduling & payroll, and building systems that allow the business to scale.  Over time, this role is designed to develop into a General Manager role as the gym increases its capacity for that role.
