Summer Trackside Training

Designed for athletes in track, cross country, and field sports (soccer, lacrosse, football, and more), Trackside helps kids get faster, stronger, and more confident, often in ways they hadn’t known they could experience.

Our 10-week program builds speed, strength, running mechanics, and conditioning based on your athlete’s goals. Training takes place weekday mornings at Schenley Oval, with strength sessions at our Point Breeze gym.

We track progress with tools like laser timing, strength testing, and movement analysis — so your child can see improvement over the summer.

Training includes:

  • 2–4 track sessions per week
  • Up to 2 strength sessions per week

Dates: June 15 – August 21 (Monday–Friday)

Choose Your Sport:

Sprinters

  • Improve acceleration and top speed
  • Build strength for sprinting power
  • Increase endurance for holding sprint positions

Field Sports

  • Increase take speed and first-step quickness
  • Enhance agility, deceleration, and reactive movement
  • Build durability to reduce in-season injuries

Cross-Country

  • Improve form, mechanics, and running economy
  • Build aerobic capacity through tempo + long runs
  • Maintain form under fatigue to close races strong

Program Schedule​

Daily Flow- Trackside (M/T/W/Th/F): June 15th-August 21st
  • 7:00am | Trackside Training (2-4 days/week)
  • 9:00am | Strength Training – morning option
  • 4-6:30pm | Strength Training – evening option
  • Sat 9:00am & 10:00am | Strength Training – Saturday option

*All track training is held at the Schenley Oval Track with strength sessions at GHP in Point Breeze

**Afternoon/evening options available for strength training.  Athletes may choose from multiple training tiers based on goals and availability.

Pricing

Flexible Options Based on Your Athlete’s Schedule

Most athletes choose our High Performance option ($738), training 4-6x per week across the summer 

This includes ~40–60 coached sessions combining speed and strength work — providing consistent structure, feedback, and progression. Full attendance is as low as $12/session.  Vacation time is accounted for with membership.

Other options:

  • Reduced training schedules starting at $398
  • 5-week Flex plans for families with summer travel

GHP Sport Science Camp upgrade

2 Weeks / Monday-Thursday / July 6-19th & July 13-16th

A hands-on camp where athletes learn how training actually works — and how to get more out of it.  We want athletes to be scientists of themselves and their sport.

Athletes will work through key areas of performance, including nutrition, recovery, and testing, with each session combining a short lesson and practical application.

What Athletes Will Learn About & Do

  • Performance Testing: force plates, gait analysis, timing systems, VO2 max
  • Sport Nutrition: how to fuel for training and competition
  • Injury & Recovery: how to stay healthy and recover properly
  • Hands-On Learning: connect what they learn directly to their Trackside training

Most sessions are run by sports medicine professions featuring physical therapists, registered dietitians, and sports recovery therapists along with visits to local sports science labs

Who It’s For

Designed for athletes entering 8th–11th grade.
Mature, highly motivated 7th graders may be considered

Only 4-8 athletes will be accepted to maintain an immersive and personal experience

Schedule: July 6th-17th (M/T/W/Th):
  • 10:00am | Recovery Snack from Trackside
  • 10:30am–12:00pm | Sport Science Camp 

Pricing

Sports Science Camp is $800 standalone, or bundled with High Performance Trackside – $1,350 ($1538).  This is our most transformative summer option.
